Dr. Parmar – Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Mrunal Parmar graduated from New York University (NYU) with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Parmar was admitted to the highly sought-after Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Parmar has worked as a Pediatric Dentist in Northern and Central New Jersey for several years. Dr. Parmar loves working with children and is committed to provide the best dental care for his patients. He strives to create a positive, memorable and fun experience for each child. He looks forward to extending his services to the people of Park Ridge and the surrounding area.
Dr. Parmar is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a proud member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is married, enjoys exercising, traveling and basketball in his spare time.
Dr. Barnes – Anesthesiologist
Dr. Barnes is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and the University of Health Sciences, Antigua School of Medicine. He completed his dental residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and his anesthesia residency at Brookdale Medical Center, also in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1993 Dr. Barnes started Paramount Ambulatory Anesthesia, a provider of office based ambulatory anesthesia for the pediatric dental patient. He also held a part-time attending position at Interfaith Medical center from 1993-2000 and at Bronx Lebanon Hospital from 2000-2001, where he was responsible for delivering anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patents in the dental department. He was also responsible for delivering weekly lectures on anesthesia/sedation to the dental residents.
Dr. Barnes, a board-certified dental anesthesiologist, practices in New York and New Jersey and is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He holds memberships in the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.
In his spare time, Dr. Barnes enjoys traveling and, as an avid General Aviation pilot, volunteers with the Patient Air Lift Services organization.
Madeline Bini – Dental Assistant
Madeline Bini is our dental assistant. Madeline Bini graduated from Fortis Institute as a Certified Dental Assistant holding Infection Control, General Chairside and CPR Certifications as well as a New Jersey Radiology license. Soon after she became a Registered (Expanded Functions) Dental Assistant.
Maddie has worked in most dental specialties but finds Pediatric to be her favorite. She loves the fun and upbeat environments as well as watching a fearful situation turn into a positive one. She looks forward to help create a positive experience as well as growing with the practice.
In her free time, Modafinil enjoys going to hockey games, concerts and spending time with her friends and family. She is a fan of the New Jersey Devils and likes Country music.
Kimberly Downes – Front Office Receptionist
Kimberly Downes is our front office receptionist. Kim was born and raised in California and moved to the east coast with husband Rob in 1992. Kimberly attended Orange Coast college in Costa Mesa California and received her associate’s degree in Dental Assisting. After spending five years assisting, Kim moved to the front desk. Kim loves children and welcomes them in our office with her warm smile. Kim and her husband Rob have twins. Brooke is a senior at the University of Southern California majoring in Political Science and she also competes on the women’s rowing team. Grant is a Junior at Loyola Maryland in Baltimore and is pursuing a degree in Bio-Physics. Kimberly volunteers with CASA in Passaic County. As a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), Kimberly advocates for children in the Foster care system. In her spare time Kim and her husband play pickleball and she also enjoys digital metronidazole and quilting.
